Education overcoming climate denial is widely viewed as essential for building public support for environmental action. Scientific consensus on anthropogenic climate change is overwhelming, yet denial persists across political and cultural groups. Educational interventions aim to correct misinformation and foster understanding. However, the relationship between knowledge and belief is complex, raising questions about education’s effectiveness in overcoming deeply held denial.
